As an avid weight trainer, I've had my fair share of peanut butter over the years. It's a super food, in my humble opinion, and I eat LOTS of it when I'm bulking up. Of course, I eat the organic kind, but for energy and protein bars, as well as peanut-butter flavored supplements, who knows? The FDA has released an announcement (Recall of Products Containing Peanut Butter: Salmonella Typhimurium) about a peanut butter recall. There are a bunch of “bar-related” products impacted, like those from Clif, Luna, NutriSystem, and ZonePerfect. I love the Clif Builder bars in the recall (I have some). There are instructions that show you how to determine if you have an affected product and what to do with it if you do.
